I was recently invited to a challenge on social media where you take an existing brand and rebrand/develop it into a high end / luxury brand, and y’all, this was such a FUN project! I loved being able to express my creativity & do something outside of my comfort zone. The purpose of the rebrand challenge is to take a brand that may be an everyday drug store brand, a fast food restaurant, etc. and turn it into something expensive looking.
I decided to go with Suave shampoo to rebrand their business. Why? Well, it’s a pretty common every day brand that most people know about. But I also chose it because of their tagline, “Can you tell the difference?” With a tagline like that I thought, “That’s the perfect tagline to evolve this brand into something fancier!“.
What I envisioned for this brand was something luxury. Something that was attractive in design & would have you picking it up off of the shelf going, “Wait who is this?!” For the price point Suave sells at, having a brand that exhibits that “Can you tell the difference?” vibe needed to be prominent with their brand redesign.
