A’s Floral Designs: Full Branding Development

A’s Floral Designs and I met back in February of last year. I had hosted a Galentine’s Day networking event to connect local creatives and women business owners with one another! We were in need of florals for the event and that’s when Amogha stepped in. She was so sweet and her work was absolutely amazing. Amogha is the type of florist who can see your vision immediately as soon as you describe what you’re looking for. She is incredibly talented and so amazing at what she does, like I cannot brag about her enough! We connected right away and when I reached out to her about wedding florals, she ironically had reached out to me about branding her business. It was a perfect match.

Amogha booked my top tier package which includes everything…quite literally! Not only did she get a fresh new brand/logo, but we also designed her business cards, marketing materials, and gave her a shiny new website. So, now that you know the backstory…are you ready to hear about the process and see the results? Let’s check it out!

When I start the design process, I generally design 3-4 concepts for my clients to look over. The concepts are based on our initial consultation meeting as well as the Pinterest board of inspiration for your new brand! See Amogha’s inspiration board below & the concepts I designed based on that!

Once the initial concepts are designed, we move into the selection process. This process gives my clients 4 changes. These generally aren’t crazy changes (such as a brand new logo), but they are slight changes and adjustments such as fonts, symbol shape adjustments, etc. Once the logo design is selected, we move into the coloration & branding process. Amogha had a clear color palette in mind (as you can see from her Pinterest board), so it made the color process super fast and easy. Brand boards are so important to showcase the final brand design. It shows your colors, fonts, any important symbols to your brand, etc. It’s a useful tool whenever you decide to launch your brand, or even work with any other type of designer such as a website designer!

Another aspect of the package Amogha booked with me was a branded photo shoot..You can check out more about branded shoots here. Here are some of my favorites from her shoot.

As we continued to develop Amogha’s brand, we needed to create cohesive marketing collateral that matched her brand as well as fulfilled the needs of her clients. This included everything from her contracts and invoices, to her business cards and packaging materials. Her business cards were a thick cardstock card with rose gold foiling. Check out the finished pieces below!

As a special thank you gift for Amogha (and since she’s the florist for my wedding), I also purchased a florist apron for her. What made it so special though, was that I had it matched to her brand colors and embroidered with her logo on it! Now she’ll be rockin’ her brand wherever she goes!

Last but certainly not least…the icing on the cake…the grand finale of Amogha’s gorgeous brand…HER WEBSITE!! This was one of my biggest projects to date. The A’s Floral Designs website (which you can see here) took quite a bit of planning and time to design, but I am so incredibly happy and proud of how it turned out. Amogha wanted something clean, sophisticated, but also modern and sleek. It needed to be interactive and draw your eye (and mouse) around the page to navigate through seamlessly.

I’m super thrilled with how everything came together and seeing her gorgeous brand we worked on for almost a year…yes, you read that right…finally as a cohesive piece was so satisfying. This was one of my largest branding projects to date and being able to design it from start to finish was absolutely amazing! Amogha, you are going places girl, I cannot wait to see where your business takes you and I’m so happy for you on the launch of your new brand!
